Dr. Cheri Bloom is a native of Coeur d'Alene. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Idaho, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1994. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton University Dental School in Omaha, Nebraska in 1999. Dr. Bloom practiced in Portland, Oregon for two years as an associate dentist before returning home to her current practice.
Dr. Bloom strongly believes in continuous learning and she pursues her own ongoing education through advanced dentistry study club groups and seminars. She supports the local community, with special emphasis on schools and children's health events, including the annual "Give Kids a Smile" program. Dr. Bloom also participates in the annual ISDA/Veterans Association's "Stand Down" charity event, which helps provide dental care to local veterans.
Dr. Bloom and her husband, Jim, have twin daughters. She enjoys reading, music, exercising and spending time with her large extended family in the area.
